Instructions
Put Cheongsam Dress.cr2 and Cheongsam Dress.rsr wherever you like, I put mine in the Libraries/character/Clothing-Female folder.
Create a folder called New inside the Geometries/Poser4Clothes directory and place Cheongsam.obj and Cheongsam.rsr in it.
Put the Cheongsam.jpg and Cheongsam_bump.jpg wherever you keep your textures, you will have to tell Poser the location the first time you use the dress- I suggest you then resave it to the Library so it remembers the location.

Notes:
The bump map is not actually installed.
This is a moderately close fitting dress, you may have to adjust it to match your Posette, or perhaps adjust her.
I've included some morphs for controlling the bottom of the dress- one for the hip which doesn't work very well and one for each thigh to control the slit.
Remember you can also make minor adjustments everywhere, after you conform the dress to the figure.

Other Notes:
"Perhaps no other traditional Oriental dress has become synonymous with the image of exotic Asia than the Cheongsam - that sublime fall of richly embroided silk that sheathes the slight figure of the Asian woman so becomingly The Cheongsam, also known in Mandarin as Qipao or Chipao was regarded as the standard dress for Chinese women from the 1930's to the 1960's.During that time it enjoyed enormous popularity in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and in overseas Chinese communities."
